Christian Publisher’s Honest, Personal Approach Inspires Authors Face to Face

Longwood, FL – Publisher RPJ & Company is delighted to announce that it has released You Are Loved, a collection of inspirational poetry, devotionals and true stories from author Patricia Elston. The book is dedicated to those who have ever called God’s love into question, and is the 15th book of Christian-inspirational works released by RPJ and Company since early 2009. RPJ has quickly developed a reputation with both local and internationally-based authors as a veritable sanctuary for would-be authors.

RPJ & Company founder and CEO, Kathleen Schubitz, decided to follow her calling to publish Christian literature several years ago, inspired by her personal relationship with Christ and the overwhelming desire to help others share their words of inspiration. She employs her writing and editing sensitivity to turn ideas and stories into tangible, marketable products for those disenchanted by larger, more impersonal publishers or self-publishing entities. One-on-one consultations and attention to detail enable Ms. Schubitz and her associates to develop friendly, trusting relationships steeped in Christian virtues.

So many writers have such wonderfully powerful tales to tell, but are stuck at the crossroads of finding a publisher or doing it themselves,” says Kathleen Schubitz, CEO of RPJ & Company, Inc. “Not everyone has the time or energy required to find a trustworthy publisher to put their thoughts onto pages, and when they do, the cost is often prohibitive or they get lost in the pile of others who need attention. With us, it’s one-on-one, face-to-face, and we usually become friends without even realizing it.”

Ms. Schubitz established her reputation as an author and counselor in churches and private ministry by courageously sharing her testimonies of victimization and the pursuit of personal freedom while discovering purpose in life. Through the power of faith, she has turned her life experiences into a positive force by reaching out to others who wish to share their profound stories while entertaining and inspiring. Ms. Schubitz has also authored Finding Purpose After Abuse, Scripture Keys, Journal to Freedom and most recently, … In His Presence, in addition to her work as publisher/CEO of RPJ & Company, Inc.

Although its roots are in Christian-inspired literature, RPJ & Company does not work exclusively with Christian authors. It has expanded its line to include books for children and has created SPC Books, a separate division to assist self-publishing authors and Christian authors with other stories or messages. RPJ & Company prides itself on a deep care and concern for the author’s work, incorporating quality design, packaging, marketing and royalties associated with distribution.

Ms. Schubitz also reaches out to the local community by hosting a free gathering for authors, writers and book lovers on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Jean Rhein Central Branch Library in Casselberry from 1 to 2 p.m. Publishing tips, computer skills for writers and other topics are covered, including discussion, free books and other surprises. She will also be appearing at a book signing on May 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for … In His Presence at the library for the benefit of Friends of the Library of Seminole County, a volunteer organization that puts books in the hands of those in need.

New Release from Christian Publisher Aims to Remove All Doubts that You Are Loved

Longwood, FL – Publisher RPJ & Company is delighted to announce the release of You Are Loved, a collection of inspirational poetry, devotionals and true stories from author Patricia Elston. The book is dedicated to those that have ever called God’s love into question, providing comfort for the wounded soul and sustenance for the hungry heart, while rekindling the warmth of long lost memories.

Fortunately for the reader, the author has had no lack of faith in her thoughts and inspirations, nor lack of energy to turn them into words when the spirit hits her. She is a master of folksy charm and simple, genuine sentiment, weaving tales of the past and present while carving out a catchy rhythm with her balance of poetry and prose.

“I want to inspire everyone to adore the spirit that awaits them,” the author states. “Every word, every rhyme and every emotion in the book is filled with the love of God and the power of Christ, and I don’t want any soul to ever doubt that they are loved.”

The following passage from the book exemplifies the sentiment in You Are Loved:

God has planted a miracle seed in each person’s heart
And he’ll show you the way he has planned from the start
If only you’ll seek him, you’ll find him, I know
And he’ll show you just where he wants you to go

The cover photo of the dogwood blossoms on You Are Loved was chosen as a metaphor representing the gentleness of the Lord and the tenderness of his love. The not-quite opened blossoms represent the need to open hearts to the love of God. You Are Loved opens the heart to let the love flow through, filtering out the long-held doubts and stresses of life, allowing them to float away.

About the Author:

Patricia Elston has been sharing her wit, graceful prose and touching stories with friends, family and fellow Christians for more than 30 years. Her words read like scripture, sing like a song, pull on the heart strings and most of all, inspire readers to take a step closer to God.

… In His Presence a New Gem on the Path to Holiness by Author Kathleen Schubitz

Longwood, FL – Feb. 8, 2010 – Author Kathleen Schubitz is pleased to announce the release of … In His Presence, a book of Christian inspirational poetry to enrich the lives of its readers. The book touches on love, loss, freedom and promise, and is chock full of elegantly-crafted affirmations for the soul and spirit. Ms. Schubitz draws upon her breadth of experience in tragedy, healing, forgiveness and redemption to provide readers with a valuable resource to employ in their daily pursuits of peace and inspiration.

… In His Presence is a timeless treasure to be slowly reflected upon and referenced as a trusted companion. Each poem was written by Ms. Schubitz and followed by a passage of scripture, and the entire work is indexed with titles and their scriptural references. The poetry is backed with colorful, tranquil images of art and nature, and each page illustrates a daily affirmation of faith, courage, hope and much more.

AFA Music Group Turns Talent Into Success in 2007

Digital Music Label Launch to Be Major Milestone in 2008

WHITE PLAINS, NY, Jan. 3, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — AFA Music Group, Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: AFAO) is pleased to announce that the Company looks forward to 2008 following a pivotal 2007, which saw its transition from an artist management company to an all-encompassing digital record label. AFA Music Group will officially launch its digital music label in early 2008 with the publishing of a new Web site that will provide music downloads, videos, merchandise and social networking. The new site will be the hub for products and information about the Company and its artists.

AFA Music Group has established the following goals for 2008: the successful launch of its digital music label in the first quarter of the year; an increase in the number of commercially viable artists on the AFA Music Group roster; the widespread release of its artists’ recordings and videos in all radio, Internet and television markets; to increase revenue for AFA Music Group; to increase international awareness for the Company and its artists.

AFA Music Group, Inc. went public in September 2007, followed by the appointment of Tommy Henriksen as Senior Vice President. His knowledge of the music industry, paired with his ability to find new talent, gave AFA Music Group its creative soul to complement the Company’s CEO, Jon Goldwater’s, skills in leading the business.

The final months of 2007 saw remarkable success for the Company’s artists. “Be With You” by Taxi Doll hit number 9 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart in November, and its songs were featured on several television shows underscoring the plotline. Ashley Alan-Lee, lead singer of AFA’s The Audio Club, was featured in the September issue of Spin Magazine. The Audio Club also includes Mr. Henriksen, along with rapper/producer Brooks Buford. The band gained international acclaim with its “Something Serious” song and video in early 2007.

AFA Music Group brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in record company advances for its artists in 2007. With the launch of the digital music label in 2008, the Company envisions revenue increases for the Company and its artists for the year ahead as its name becomes a standard in the digital music industry.

“It’s been a phenomenal year for us in what has become a turning point in our brief history. We will gauge success in the coming year based on the success of our artists, and we expect our digital music label to make AFA Music Group a destination for original artists who strive for success with their own creative input,” stated Jon Goldwater, CEO of AFA Music Group, Ltd.

Redi PediCab Company Now Offering Pedicab Service at the Orange County Convention Center

Orlando, FL— XXX. XX, 2009 – The Redi PediCab Company is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the permits to offer pedicab rides at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando. Redi PediCabs are bicycle-pulled rickshaws (a.k.a. bike taxis), or “those bicycles that carry people.” The vehicles provide a forum for outdoor billboards, fun, friendly rides and affordable, Eco-friendly transportation.

The Orange County Convention Center is the second largest convention facility in the United States. It hosts more than 300 events and approximately 1.4 million attendees each year, providing more than a $1.4 billion annual boost to the Central Florida economy. For the past several years, Redi PediCabs have typically been seen along International Drive, from the Convention Center, past the hotels, to Pointe Orlando and everywhere in between.

“We can now offer a unique form of transportation to convention attendees. Instead of leaving the convention center by riding a taxi or bus to get to a hotel, restaurant or their next meeting, people can now enjoy the Florida weather by taking an Eco-friendly pedicab to their next destination. It’s fun, relaxing, amusing, and we do not get stuck in traffic,” stated Catherine Ojeda, Owner of the Redi PediCab Company.

Redi PediCab does not charge for the service it provides. Drivers work for gratuity, and are not paid an hourly wage or a salary. They typically receive $5 to $20 per ride, and gratuity is based on the driver’s service and the distance of the ride.

About the Redi PediCab Company:

The Redi PediCab Company (www.RediPediCabServices.com) is a fleet of tricycle-pulled rickshaws operated throughout Central Florida. They can be found mainly on International Drive and at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, providing transportation for tourists and convention attendees. AFA Label Enlists Wide-Ranging Talents of Artist Bio Alex Boyd

Singer/songwriter Alex Boyd joined the roster of Artists for Artists in late 2007 and is working on an album project, his first, produced by Tommy Henriksen. He will appear in videos to support the singles and is always busy composing new songs. Alex is a singer, actor, dancer, composer, vocal arranger, guitarist and keyboardist. At 23, he already has a rich history in the entertainment business, and comes to AFA Music Group from McLean, Virginia, via Hollywood.

He had a supporting role in the 2006 film, “Karla,” and has another supporting role in the horror/thriller, “Lost Signal,” slated for release in 2008. He has appeared in numerous commercials and guest television spots in recent years and gained attention several years ago as one of the finalists on the reality competition show, Fame.

As a teenager, he was cast in Debbie Allen’s first production of “Soul Possessed,” which was performed at the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, as well as her follow up productions of “Dreams.” He was educated at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington D.C. and the renowned Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, studying opera and classical voice. He has been performing on stage since he was a child.

The past year has seen Alex in front of a more widespread audience, including his appearance as a singer in a Cingular Ringtone Commercial during the American Idol show. He also performed with Tyrese on New Years Eve and headlined Beyonce’s post-concert party in San Diego.

Here’s what Alex has to say about his career and his experience with Artists for Artists:

The successful artists are the real artists now. When I was focusing on both acting and music, I had a hard time making meaningful strides in either one. It was kind of overwhelming to try and launch two careers at the same time. Once I decided to take a break from acting and focus on music, that’s when I became the artist that I am today.”

“AFA Music, and the way that Tommy Henriksen works in the studio, they really cater to being an artist and being an individual. The first experience I had in studio with Tommy was magical. My vocals, which tend to be more pop/soul, were a great blend with Tommy’s sounds, which are more electronic rock. We created something special. Something fresh that people will be happy to listen to, rather than something that has to be forced down their throat or tattooed in their memory banks. This is an awesome opportunity for an independent artist. The masses just aren’t interested in these formulaic, cookie cutter artists anymore.”
